     While attending graduate school at San Francisco State, I married my wife Sandy and both of us joined the Peace Corps for 2-½ years service in Honduras, Central America. After Peace Corps service, I worked for the Asian Institute as a program evaluation officer providing humanitarian assistance to Vietnam & other Asian countries. I made several trips to Vietnam during the war to evaluate, design, and approve funding of programs to assist war refuges during the Vietnam War.

     I opened my own real estate company in Santa Cruz, California in 1973.  During my California real estate career, I concentrated on land sales for major California developers sold in excess of $150 million in land & project developments.

     In 1997, Sandy and I followed our dream to sail the Caribbean. We spent 6 months sailing the island chain with our family on a 43 ft. Sparkman & Stevens sloop.  In 2003, I bought the Real Estate Center in Red Hook, St. Thomas, relocating on land.  I joined Sea Glass Properties in 2010 as a Broker Associate to continue what I have enjoyed doing my entire real estate career...selling versus managing real estate agents.

     On a personal note, I was a licensed California building contractor for 15 years, obtained a 100-ton Coast Guard skipper’s license, PADI scuba diver master’s rating, and hold a complex aircraft pilot’s license.

     My passions & love include my wife of 45 years, my 3 children, and my Lord God. Further, I love sports, sailing, fly-fishing, camping, hunting, reading history, and flying airplanes.

     By the grace of the Lord, my successful real estate career has allowed me to enjoy all of these things & more. I am grateful for this every day of my life!
