Kelsey's
Profile
Why Work With Me
After graduating from Miami University with a BFA in Graphic Design in 1993, Kelsey moved to
Tortola, BVI, and was immediately taken with the Caribbean and island life. She worked as a
graphic designer on-island until 1997, then returned home to Ohio due to family obligations.
Kelsey's career as a graphic designer and small business owner provided many of the skills
necessary for success: an eye for aesthetics, strong listening and negotiating skills, organization,
attention to detail, and diligent research. Working internationally in the BVI gave her the chance
to conduct meetings with a wide variety of clients, make decisions based on time and budget
constraints, and create successful solutions for their needs.
Kelsey obtained her Real Estate Sales License in 2010. She got a Broker’s License in 2016
and opened a boutique brokerage. As the Primary Broker, she handled day-to-day business
management and oversaw seven agents. She realized she missed the hands-on interaction
with clients and chose to transition to an Associate Broker role. While it may sound cliché,
Kelsey enjoys and excels at helping real people make well-informed decisions about some
of the most significant transactions of their lives. She knows it is essential that clients are
informed, prepared, and confident when buying or selling a home or investment property.
Having gone through several of her real estate transactions, she knows well the weight of
such decisions. She intends for her clients' experiences to be as stress-free, fun, and exciting as
possible. Making sure her clients understand the intricacies of buying or selling a home in the
Caribbean, understanding their needs, and negotiating the best deal is her goal. She uses the
latest technologies, market research, and business strategies to exceed your expectations. More
importantly, she listens, and that means tailored solutions.
