Living on an island is beautiful, exciting, exhilarating, and mostly everything that you would hope it to be. One thing that takes a little getting used to is the limited shopping options. Luckily, there are plenty of stores that ship to the islands, thus offering alternative shopping avenues to expand your options to a more manageable number.

I have put together a short and non-comprehensive list of some of the places that do ship to the Virgin Islands.

If the ability to rely on stateside comforts, such as the above mentioned shipping options, puts you at ease, great. However, there truly is great shopping options on-island. Yes, it is true that when comparing the selection to your stateside variety there is a bit less. Despite popular belief (and an ongoing joke amongst locals) we aren’t only limited to Kmart and Gucci. There are countless boutiques, jewelers, and even some great electronics stores to shop at on St. Thomas and the surrounding islands. Specifically, Yacht Haven Grande (where Sea Glass Properties is located) has some of the best shopping on island. So, if lack of shopping was a main concern, don’t fret. There are plenty of shops on island or shipping alternatives available for you.
Happy Shopping,
Alison
